Rather Interview Staged
Could Dan Rather be in trouble again? A new book on Castro tells of a staged Dan Rather interview that was master-minded by a Clinton lawyer.
In Fidel: Hollywood's Favorite Tyrant, author Humberto Fontova reveals for the first time how Dan Rather's "60 Minutes" interview(1) with Juan Miguel (Elian Gonzalez's father) was stage-managed by former Clinton lawyer and friend, Gregory Craig.
According to a Cuban-American translator from the U.S. Treasury Department: "The questions for Juan Miguel were actually fed to Dan Rather by Gregory Craig. After a taping session, Craig would call Dan over, give him some more instructions and exchange papers with him. Then Dan would come back on the set and ask those."
The book reports that during the interview Craig acted like the movie director and even got a bona fide dramatic actor to translate and mouth the responses of Miguel.
Once again, Rather's "reporting" is nothing but elaborate deception.

1. The information about the staged interview of Dan Rather with Juan Miguel Gonzalez taped in 2000, came from a 8-minute short interview by filmmaker Agustin Blazquez titled Dan Rather '60 Minutes' an inside view taped on May 18, 2003 with a retired Architect of the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington, DC., Pedro Porro, A.I.A. This interview reveals what he found to be a serious manipulation of a segment of “60 Minutes” he participated in order to influence the conclusions of the audience. Mr. Porro participated in the 10-hour taping session for "60 Minutes." Greg Craig – Clinton’s lawyer during his impeachment process, who also acted as lawyer for Juan Miguel Gonzalez and as advisor to John Kerry during his presidential campaign - was present and involved. While taping the Dan Rather interview Mr. Porro observed what appears to be one more pattern of deception by Dan Rather, "60 Minutes" and CBS. This 8-minute short will be featured in the soon to be released Special Edition DVD of Agustin Blazquez's new documentary Covering Cuba 4: The Rats Below. This documentary exposes the high-level influence of a giant corporation over the U.S. government and bringing tragedy to an innocent child and everyone else in the wat, using the Gold Rule of power, money and greed.
